Of course I cannot speak for Chris, but I'll do it anyway :)
I think Chris referred to a joke in another thread, that if non-conlangers were
to be expelled from the list, John Cowan would be the first candidate for that.
To answer the question: no, though I might begin to do it one day just for the
fun of it. But now, as a matter of fact, I never "use" my languages, I just
play with them. No secret diaries, messages or whatever, just grammar, words,
and sometimes a translation.
The way you (Chris) formulate your question gives the impression that you do
use your languages for shameful purposes ;)
Counterquestion: can using somebody else's language be understood as an act of
insincerity?
