Well, since you replied to my post, I'll reply to yours. :) I came up
with a word for the sound things make when they're falling down stairs:
sakSaqa. It just seemed appropriate. Later, when I was trying to figure out
greetings (particularly, "How are you doing?"), I adopted this word,
translating to, roughly, "How are you bumping on down the stairs lately?".
Life can be that way sometimes. ;)
[Note to self: From now on, consolidate posts! I should've put the bit about
