There's de facto standards and then there's de jure standards.
Statistically, where there are both types of standards for the same
thing, the former wins.
Anyway, this is a great opportunity to discuss relative clauses in
conlangs! I still don't know quite how Taruven does it, so please
explain how y'all do it and maybe something will finally shake loose
from my mental tree of linguistic possibilities.
