OK. That's a very strange usage. Anyway, I don't see any problem with
it, except for the retention of [u]. Most Romance languages change
this u to o: amamus in Latin yields amamos in Spanish; carrus ->
carro, etc. I don't think there is really any reason why J _must_
follow this pattern, since Romanian also keeps the u. Just something
to be aware of.
