I've learned that it was THE correct order, at least in Classical Arabic. The
order you gave means to me: "my girl who goes to Cairo..." though normally with
definite nouns you need a relative pronoun. But take an indefinite noun and it
works.
In the examples I remember of spoken Arabic, VSO was still the dominant word
order.
