I know it might be a bit late (and im sorry i havent been posting in a while)
but in Silindion there are some correlations between animal names and sounds.

duck:  nyáma/nyárë   quack:  nyá   to quack: nëascello
cow:   nyúrë         moo: nyún     to low: nïello
owl:   tútu          hoot: tún     to hoot: tuscello
cat:   nïunu/sínko   meow: nïu     to meow: nïuscello
sparrow: pïo         noise/sound:  péphu
dog:   kóa           bark: káuna   to bark/bay: kóyello
crow:  pássë         scream: pána  to scream: pïello

and finally:
lion: láiva    roar: dáuna (a little hard to see yes)
to roar: doyéllo   (all from Dâw)
