The inchoative aspect. For reference, the Lojban aspects are: inchoative (not yet begun) continuitive (in progress) perfective (completed) initiative (on the point of starting) cessitive (on the point of stopping, not necessarily complete) completitive (on the point of finishing naturally) superfective (between the natural and the actual end; going on too long) pausative (at the point of stopping temporarily) resumptitive (at the point of resuming) achievative (the whole event considered as a single point) -- John Cowan cowan@ccil.org e'osai ko sarji la lojban.
