Why using color at all? The philological convention is rather to use italics for the language under analysis. Besides not everyone sees color alike, or at all! A workable solution would be to create a template {{Senjecan|}} to wrap around the relevant text strings, implementing a CSS class .Senjecan which anyone can set to show however they like in their user CSS. I can help you with that if you give me a list of pages where you have used the convention.

Again not all eyes or all screens are created equal. I for one have trouble seeing light blue against white, so I have set hyperlinks to show as modal blue. /BP
