I've recently begun a new project. So, I'll answer this about my new
project.

It's designed as an artificial language. The idea is that a group of
alien species got together to create a language they could all use. Few
of them shared a common communication-system (e.g., some used a
cricket-like system, some used differing colors - chameleon-style, and
so on), so they created a "phonology" in which all the "phonemes" were
divided into two classes, which were called A & B. These classes could
be interpreted in different ways by different species, so that Humans
would interpret them as consonants and vowels. There were 16 A and 8 B,
which made up words in the pattern AB ("syllables") repeated two or
three times. Two in the A class could end a "syllable" - one of them
("n") ended and began roots, if there were prefixes and suffixes, and
one of them ("l") ended words, thus a nice morpheme-level and word-level
self-segregation. Prefixes and suffixes are all "mono-syllables". For
two species to communicate using this language, each needs merely know
how the other interprets the A's and B's.
The grammar is isolating using particles to indicate gramatical
relations. I haven't worked out the details yet.

Not for this one.
