But there are so many other sillier linguistic items to be found in
Glorantha:
The city of Nochet got its name when someone asked Greg Stafford if he had
named a dot on a map. He answered with what would formally be written as
"Not yet." The response from his player was "Okay, then we're going to
Nochet."
Yelm, a major sun deity--named for Yelm, Washington.
Chalana Arroy, healing deity--named for Chalann, Washington.
Corflu, miserable little swamp town--named for a brand of CORrecton FLUid.
Needless to say, playing linguistic cleanup can be a challenge at times...
