I decided that the current PIE linguistic orthography leaves much to be
desired aesthetically, and I slammed together a new one.
/k_w/ - <cw>
/g_w/ - <gw>
H1 - <h>
H2 - <ch>
H3 - <chw> *Laryngeals based on most common reconstruction.
/g_h/ - <gh>
/b_h/ - <bh>
/d_h/ - <dh>
/g_h_w/ - <ghw>
/w/ - <v>
/k/ - <k>
/j/ - <j>
Now, the word,father, translates as:
pchter - pH2ter
and 'dog' translates as:
cvon - kwon
so, my father had a dog is:
Misjo pchter kapti cvon.
Looks quite pleasent, no?
