True, the Netherlands is a very welcoming country -
but I'd also insert Denmark in there too.  All the
Danes I met were not only friendly but comic, to boot
(well, that is, the younger generation).

Japan, BTW, is a not recognize as "foreigner friendly"
although I deeply believe it is.  The problem
definitely is the language gap, so when the Japanese
learn you speak a bit of their language, things go a
lot smoother!
