Neighbouring Amsterdam from the North. Zaandam is the center of Zaanstad, on of our 100000+ cities.

Are those two languages related to each other? My experience is, that if they are, they can start to interact with each other in a rather unpleasant way. I have learnt, that while I'm working with one, it's better to forget about the other ones completely! Jan
