Incidentally, my pastor was born in Finland, and immigrated to the
Canada as a young child (and thence to the US in adulthood). His name
is Jako (I think, not to sure on the spelling), which is equivalent to
James/Jacob, but he's called Jack because invariably in school people
would mispronounce his name as /dZ&ko/, thus "Jack" stuck as what he's
called in English. :-)
