What a brilliant idea this is! I especially like the choice of words to
translate. Do you have a preferred method of choosing them, or is it the old
"shut eyes and open dictionary" method?

Birch: Liri - {from a root LIw meaning something like 'curve in a natural,
graceful manner' whence also Líle 'head of (long) hair', Límo 'to flow
smoothly'}

Lycanthrope: - No actual term, you'd have to use a word like Saikari (lit 'a
tearer' from Saika 'to tear at something wildly') and include it in a
setting which uses the translative case: aina saikarike 'he became a
"werewolf"'. Or you could simply calque 'werewolf' to anojauru (man-wolf).

To save money: - This would tend to have the sub-text of 'miserly' and in
fact Omeina has a derogatory term Lakurikuri (from Laku- to hold on to,
clutch at, plus the very frequent suffix -ri 'one who ...' and kuri 'gold'.

Conquer: - Askahe (from aska 'fight' plus intensifier suffix, 'to overcome')

Motif: - Bemne {from the old root Be(n)- meaning 'to see as distinct,
different' whence bere- to see; be-, negative auxiliary verb, plus the noun
Mahi, meaning 'inner form or nature of something', with elision of
intervocalic -h- and reduction of diphthong (stem-final diphthongs are not
permitted), plus metathesis of *nm to -mn.
