For Silindion
1) birch (tree): _sermo_ *ser-mo (existing word)
2) Werewolf: I'm not sure these exist in the world where Silindion is spoken,
but, a similar type of being (what I've called "faerie") does. Among these
"faeries" are spirits of animals that appear in human form, and are revered by
Humans at least as gods. This would be a _nassavauro_ "nature-sprite" nassa
"nature" vauro "spirit" (compound made from existing words)
3) to save (money): _nampayallo_ "to look with foresight into the future and
decide to keep something for later". *nad-pa^y-ya-llod
"toward-look-ing-INFINITE". The Silindion concept of money hasn't really been explored so I guess this
verb could refer to saving anything for future use. Conjugated: _nampaya'n_ "he
saves" and _anampai_ "he saved" (or _anampaye_) (new word)
4) to conquer: this could just be _tanyatyello_ "to enter into ruling" with some
semantic drift I guess. Although this is a new word, it is a farely productive
way of inchoactive derivation. It's conjugated: _tanyassa'n_ "he conquers" and
_assanyassi_ "he conquered"
5) motif/theme/idea/concept:
_kuisse_ "theme" (new word from an existing root: _KUY_ FASHION)
_sekuisse_ "literary theme"
_linkuisse_ "musical theme"
_linya_ "idea, concept" (new word from an existing root: _LID_ THINK)
_sinoss_ "common thread, concept" (new word from an existing root: _SINO_
THNREAD/STRING/HAIR) This word refers to an idea or concept which is used by an
artist to unify a body of work. This could conceivably refer to "schools of
thought"
