As there's often been a rather long walk separating parking and buildings on our
university campus, going to work in the dark has been a serious safety issue,
and I'm still not entirely comfortable with it, despite administrative efforts
to provide better lighting and reduce the number of dangerous obstructions like
hedges. I start work at 7 am.
