Deference is for slaves.  Free people are always equals, although some
are more equal than others.  Likewise, Praxians would see our customs of
politesse to be institutionalized dishonesty.  If you want something, say
it forthrightly.  Your manner of speaking will show your intent better
than cunning choice of words.
