That reminds me...I used to use notebooks with pre-ruled margins that were
the right width for scribbling stuff. Sometimes the things that I scribble
are conlang and natlang sentences, and naturally, the teachers who mark
books tend to write either "obvious observations" or multiple question
marks there :)
