I'd say that's not semantically equivalent, as it implies that
the person *will* take the singer home, which is far from a given
in the original. (I also interpreted "home" as the taker's home,
not the singer's).
The English can be made more verbose and perhaps clearer:
I know/have decided which person it is that I would like
to be the one who takes me home [with them].
But that is structurally the same; I don't know how to simplify the grammar
without breaking it up into multiple sentences.
