Re: translation exercise

Finally came round to do my translation exercise in Jovian.  I don't
have any subjunctives or conjunctives yet, so I'm going to use a
circumlocution for "could be".

Also, my pitiful grasp of Latin probably ruins this otherwise quite
spiffy language.  =P

Anyway, I decided to make final |u| audible.  It used to be strangely
silent before.  Former |dh| and |gh| are now written as |z| and |h|.

Literal translation:

To me said voice:
"Smile and be happy!
Is possible world worse!
So I smiled
and was happy.
And worsened world.

I assumed that the Latin perfect stem of gaudêre was *gaudu-...  my
online dictionary wouldn't tell me anything about that.  =P
