Actually, they've issed them all along; and the Papal States
before that. It has the same value as the Italian lira,
though.
As for the DM, I think it's one of the Yugoslavian countries
that, essentially, uses it as their currency (kind of like
Ecuador and the US$). I wonder of the Central Bank took that
sort of thing into consideration at all? There are also French
overseas departments, as well as countries whose currencies
are based on the French franc. It will be interesting to see
how the experiment works out this time around.
