Oh, you know -- they bring out new versions of everything every year now.
It is all a scam. I have been a faithful WP user since version 3, but I
can't remember that I noticed a big shift from 8 or 9 (whichever I had
last) to 10, except that it doesn't freeze up nearly as often (but that
may be Windows XP as well). I don't use many of the fancy features
anyway. I only got the new version because my computer died last year and
I had to start from scratch.
