Not strange at all, I'd say. I know many folks who go by their middle names.
It's just a question of which name one likes better. Or which fits in better
- with brothers named Forman, Willard, Gerald, and Corbin, my Uncle Paul
Freeman must have felt that "Paul" wouldn't have fit in as well, so he's
been "Freeman" his whole life.
