Nah, my hubby's known I was a nerd since we met in college. I was in the
computer science department -- hard to get any nerdier. And he's enough
of a nerd himself, of the gaming variety, so it was one more thing we
had in common. He doesn't dislike my conlanging, but since he's not too
much into the theoretical aspects of language, he doesn't follow it too
much. But he appreciates the conculture stuff I come up with as that, as
I mentioned in a discussion earlier, seems easier for the linguistic
layman to immmediately grasp.
