Oh, an intro-course. We have those too, the ex.fac. (examen facultatum)
for everyone studing some language or language-oriented discipline.
Plenty of ppl there, of course.

It ain't the language that is obligatory but the class. You basically use
what you have learnt before on a real, live, non-indoeuropean language.
Lately, it's been alternating between Akan and Japanese.

You prioritize 'em? Just about everything is open here, so you get in no
matter what... Only lab-courses has an upper limit on applicants these
days.

Or do linguistics because it is great fun and to get ideas for
conlanging (like me) :)
