Right you are. Good Heavens, must we now give interlinears with our
emails??? :-))

"Benang" ini sdh terlalu panjang.
thread this already too.much long
Menurut pendapat saya,
ACT-follow opinion I=my
lebih baik saja kalau ber-cakap2 tentang hal2 mengenai
more good just if VB-discuss about matter-pl concerning
bahasa2 buatan kita.
language-pl make-NOML we(incl)=our
Don't ask me how one derives "opinion" from the agent form of dapat, which
means 'can, able; get, obtain'.
Or "concerning" from a verb _kena [k@'na]_ whose basic meaning is 'hit,
struck by, affected by'. Coincidentally, Kash _kena ['kena]_ means the same,
but I don't use it as much as BI uses their kena.
Yet another Indonesian oddity, later on in the post: diputuskan '(it) was
decided'-- di- passive; putus 'cut off' -kan object focus, sort-of. Perhaps
a loan-translation of "decide" which also seems to contain a root -cide
meaning 'cut'
