This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise; though the 'average'
wavelength response of human eyes centres roughly on a certain value, the
extremes around this value may vary; and even with a similar average, the
values for individual eyes will still vary. Other factors also come into
effect, such as age, fatigue, diet (for instance, smoking affects such
things as the eye's ability to adapt to low light). How are you with the red
end?
