Hm; do you mean, you've never heard the 'n' drop, or the /U/, or the /v/
initially? Actually I think the /v/ there might be affected by the
preceding phone, if it is voiced I think it seems to go /v/ or at least
fortis /f/...as for the 'n' dropping I've noticed that happen often before
a consonant in Austrian, tho it'll stay before a vowel.
