Doesn't seem strange to the average Kerno speaker either.
Perhaps the null copula is an Odd and Curious Feature of
the British Romance languages in Ill Bethisad?

'ny gante Kerno:

Ech! Me di la-n dersar zesoeritate l' Yfernne
e l' Eduoageor e la-n mMorants henny mea lamme

Ech! Me di la-n dersar zesoeritate l' Yfernne
Lo! I.nom* of the triple sorority (of) the Hell

e l' Eduoageor e la-n mMorantes henny mea lamme
and the Battle and the Death in.the my hand

* me is the emphatic form of eo, which is the usual form
for "I".

Padraic.
