There used to be the archive at Yahoo! that contained a lot between 1996 and
1998. But alas! As soon as the message storage limits of 64 MB are reached,
part of the old stuff is removed to make place for the new: now the archives
there don't go farther back than July 2002. Everything before 1998 seems to be
lost forever. :((
