too big to answer.  Ultimately, you must, as I have with the Nowans,
decide what factors you want to still exist and then how to integrate
them.  One that my background brings to mind, is how the Industrial
Revolution would have developed without the influx of American gold and
silver, some say it was a minor influence, others a major.  In the end
you will have to decide how to determine it.
