Hm, alright. Well, after I sent my message to the list I decided to google the expression (yeah, I know, I should have done it _before_ I sent it), and out of all the sentences that came up, only 1 seemed to be _maybe_ written by a native Spanish speaker. I then proceeded to ask an Argentinian friend if she had heard this expression, "me da feliz", and she was very blunt: "no creo que exista; acá por lo menos no usamos esta expresion" (meaning "I don't believe it exists; we don't use that expression - not here, at least"). So, well, maybe it does exist, but at least it proves my Spanish is not so bad. Lol. Peace, Ken :-)
