Interesting change in applicatiion of the word. Four decades ago, it was
also applied non-racially/non-cultuirally to those citizens of the USA who,
due to vitamin and/or nutritional defeciencies or anemia, had cravings for
and consumed non-food items such as clay or laundry starch.
