Well, there may be some precedent for pronouncing <eu> as /ef/ if there is
some Greek influence in here somewhere :-) The Greek name Euphemia is
pronounced something like [Evfimia], and has been for a very long
time. Similarly, Eulogy is pronounced [Evlogi].
