Please read other people's messages before posting your own. Up until now, I've read
like twenty messages which all basically said "yes, the kw > p change is likely
and happened in PIE/Celtic/Goidelic/Sindarin/Whatever".

Okay. So this is partly because the list was held, but it
happens at other times as well.

(And "renaming the continents"? Isn't that rather a Conculture
tread, at best?)
