Why do you continue to just embarass yourself on this list???
Do you have a decent dictionary with etymological info - i.e. the OED
(Oxford English Dictionary) or the AHD (American Heritage Dictionary)?
Or if you do, why on earth don't you use it/them?
If not "hard-copy"... there is always wikipedia on-line that you also can
use - esp'ly since you spend some great deal of time on-line anyways...
Really, Mike, ... sheesh... I reaaally wonder WTF goes on in your thinking
