Hmm i kind of lost track of where this thread was going. Anywho...in my
conlang most verbs and adjectives derive from nouns. Certain verbs are
just verbs, nouns are derived from these verbs (verbal nouns). For
instance, "a run" is: "bagdagbo". "Bag-" is the prefix for verbal nouns
(sometimes the root word is used. "A run" can also be "dagbo"). Nouns made
into verbs are created by adding affixes that turn the noun into a verb
according to aspect and focus. If i were to create the verb for "to put on
shoes", i would say: "Yansyus". "Yan-" is the actor focus affix , syus =
shoes (<sy> = /S/), and the word is in the infinitive form.
