In more conventional spelling, except for non-standard lexical items: "Nay, lad, thou can't have not-but one shift in the accent else tone in a longish word. Thou mun think about all the modern Greeks a-going to make love. I'll see thee." Note the 2nd-person singular pronouns, archaic in Standard English; the use of "else" for "or" and "not-but" for "only"; and the Norse borrowing "mun" for standard (and native) English "must". -- John Cowan cowan@ccil.org I am a member of a civilization. --David Brin
