Though there are, I am told, dialects which use the dative even with
desinations... though "Ich geh' jetzt im Bett" sounds very strange
indeed to me -- like "I'll be walking around in my bed" rather than
the intended "I'm going to bed now" (which would be "Ich geh' jetzt
ins Bett" in my variety of German).
