David, I'm also 16, and have been lurking here for a couple of months.
This is my first
post, since I have not yet ventured into making my own language and have
had no
need to post here until I have questions pertaining to conlanging. I got
interested in
conlanging after reading most of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and seeing
Sindarin and
the other toungues. After reading those books and learning of Esperanto
(and then
going and learning it) in my French class I knew conlanging was for me.
But until I feel
committed enough to sit down and start my own language, I'll remain in the
shadows
learning and preparing for my masterpiece!
PS: Another reason I've not posted until now is a technicality involving
offline-mail
not working on my school's server, but hopefully that will soon be
remedied.
