  E 'if' is from ai in aiquen 'whoever, if anyone',
recently argued about on Elfling. Whether it's valid
or not, it works for me!

  Eil 'other' came from Irish _eile_ 'other' - I
didn't know about the presence of 'neuna'. I'm only up
to the h's in quettaparma quenyanna.
