I'm sorry you think I indulge in nit-picking. I have better things to do &
if I were to pick the odd nit I'd do what Mark Line did & write <nit>

With respect, this is *NOT* written for the person in the street; it is
written for members of the conlang list.
In case you had forgotten, only a few days ago I mailed, in response to
another conlanger, a post about DEIXIS. The words 'exophoric',
'endophoric', 'anaphoric' and 'cataphoric' all occurred in that mail.
I'd thought the reference would've been seen as what we in the UK call an
"in-house joke". I did not expect it to be greeted with sarcasm. I'm
sorry the reference was lost.

Fellow conlangers,
I've cut the rest of what was a long reply I'd written. I do not wish this
to become a personal exchange of insults of the sort that has so bedevilled
AUXLANG in the past. I shall _not_ reply to any other postings from Bob
Petry as I shall trash them unread.
All I will say is that the correction of grammar & the vocabulary
suggestion was meant to be helpful.
I am saddened that observations about Speedwords are greeted with such
outbursts. But I believe in freedom of speech. If I or any other
conlanger want to speak about Speedwords as a conlang, then I think they
have a perfect right to do so.
Ray.
