Which natlangs are active? Are there any references on the Net on those?

I don't know how much there is on the web, but here is a small list of the languages I can think of off the top of my head: Chickasaw, Choctaw, Alabama, Koasati, Seminole-Creek, Mohawk, Onandaga, Lakhota, Oneida, Seneca, Tuscarora, Cherokee (I think). Some of these have material on the web, others do not. An online course in Choctaw is offered by the Choctaw Nation, but enrollment just recently closed (you had to be on the web 10-11 am M-Th -- that ruled me out). =============================== Marcus Smith AIM: Anaakoot "When you lose a language, it's like dropping a bomb on a museum." -- Kenneth Hale ===============================
