It's a kind of Messiah that the "Bene Gesserit" (may've misspelt that)
sisterhood tries to create via a human breeding programme. Due to a severe
case of romantic love (the Kassi undoubtly'd find it disgusting), the
Kwisatz Haderach is born one generation too early, and turns out to be none
other than Paul Atreides, main character of _Dune_ and _Dune Messiah_.
Andreas (who should be getting his hands on Heretics of Dune and Chapter
House of Dune some day)
