Do you have the same problem I do? Here's what one of the mess-ups
from David's page looks like to me:

The blue-circled areas are the misdisplayed IPA symbols. I usually get
that strange Q, but sometimes other characters too. The green
rectangle is something I've never noticed before -- a lot of empty
space in the line. No idea what's going on there.
I'm running Firefox 0.9.1 on Mandrake 9.2. If anyone knows how to make
IPA characters display in that environment, I'd certainly appreciate
the tip!
