Well Chikuhoo *is* a renowned yakuza nest (one frequently found oneself knockin' 'em back with yakuza at yakitoriya or yatai stands [God, I miss yatai]). Even kids run around saying "suka~~~n" for "suki jya nai". Other favorites are "ikiotta" for "itte ita", and the ubiquitous "soo bai". A famous comedy duo (forget their names [one has currently shaved his head and sports a goatee]) once did a sketch mimicking Chage and Aska (are they still hot, hot, hot?) who purportedly hail from the Chikuhou region. Bai's on the end of absolutely *everything*. Definitely merited a chuckle. Kou
