Agreed, but "shinjiraren" which you label as chikuhou
is better labeled as a slang (rather machoistic) form
of "shinjirarenai"... same as wakaranai -> wakaran...
and, albeit such is spoken by close friends of either
sex, I'd say it is most common among gruff macho guys
like the yakuza... <cringe>
