My original translation did not fit in the 5-7-5 pattern, but suddenly I had
a brainstorm to double the values, so the Skerre version is 10-14-10.  The
unit of counting is the syllable since the Skerre don't count morae like the
Japanese do.  I did have to bend the "rules" a bit by un-diphthongizing the
word for be (ta.it instead of tait, hence the dieresis/umlaut--whatever you
would like to call that accent mark). This bending would sound a little
weird to the Skerre ear, but is necessary to fit the "meter" and retain all
grammar.
