Thanks to my 4 and a half years of Spanish and a roommate who's taking
Italian, the first stanza means something like...
"i am lit up
 by the immense
 starry night
 mathematics..."

??????

And i know no French whatsoever, but thanks to this list i've picked up a
little bit of a sense of its awe-full polysynthetic freakiness.
does the second stanza mean something like...
"the stars are
 the silenced orchestra
 of unknown worlds
 with life, the rains pour (or: the plains power)"

??????
